Hemp Banana & Chocolate Chip Bread

First things first! Preheat your oven to 180 degrees C/350 degrees F. Then take 4 medium sized or 2 large rippened bananas. Slice the bananas and add them to a mixing bowl.

Add 1/2 cup of brown sugar then start mashing away until it has a smooth consistency. 

Add 1/2 cup of oil. I used Hemp, but you can use coconut oil, sunflower oil or whichever you prefer!

Stir very well so the oil can mix evenly with the banana puree.

Add 1/4 tsp on cinnamon powder, 1/8 tsp of nutmeg and 1/2 tsp of almond extract.

Once the puree is evenly mixed, add 1 1/2 cups of whole wheat flour, 1/2 tsp of baking soda, 1 1/2 tsp of baking powder and a pinch of salt.

Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients very well. Do not mix! The folding step is the most important part because you want the whole mixture to be mixed evenly without the batter getting deflated!

Add in the chocolate chip goodies, fold gently again once or twice.

Pour the batter in a greased or lined loaf pan.

Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes, and check with a toothpick to make sure it's baked throughout.

I melted some chocolate chips while the bread was baking and that's why you see crazy amounts of it!
